Like many of the people I know online, I am prone to chopping and changing my tech. It's that time again!

Twos

I've been a Twos user since 2022 - I am devoted to this amazing app that has been a place to write things down, a memory recall, a project manager, a year planner, a daily log and so much more. It continues to be the gift that keeps on giving as Parker and Joe add new functionality. Twos is the only app I've ever stuck with. That says all you need to know.

Voicenotes

This has been a new arrival in 2024. I think I was an early adopter and I'm currently ranked 9 out of 100,000+ users (which makes me ridiculously happy). I use Voicenotes mostly to record thoughts on the fly. In 2025, I plan to be more structured and use Voicenotes as a starting point for writing.

Bear

I used Bear years ago until I migrated to Obsidian. This year I've used Obsidian Publish to share notes online.

Obsidian is great but ... I've struggled this year with loading speed. Consequently, I'm using it less.

Bear Blog

Inspired by Jedda, I decided to reactivate my Bear Blog account to replace Obsidian Publish (which would renew mid January - so, good timing), and to migrate to bear.app.

Substack

I dabbled with Substack in 2024. I'm not sure where I stand on Substack right now. There are just so many people writing about writing on Substack, and a lot of noise in general. The jury's still out.
