What I'm Doing Now
It's fairly quiet on the farm. No lambs or sheep. Only 4 cows. Two of them have calved - bull calves that I've named Toffee and Nutmeg. Two cows yet to calf.
The phase 2 sheep are back but on a field a few miles away. Phil the Farmer's not sure if any will come back to the farm. Because the weather's good, the majority may lamb out in the field.
The chicken run extension is almost finished. The hens love the extra space. It's also much easier to manoeuvre around for me.
Still really enjoying Kortex and finding that it is conducive to writing more. It's very intuitive to use, links with Readwise and therefore Voicenotes. It joins the dots in a way other PKM/Second Brain apps haven't for me.
What I'm Writing
I've posted a couple of new items on my Substack. Also recorded a podcast with Stacy Vayta which is going live this week. It was a great conversation with a kindred spirit.
What I'm Reading
I decided to start reading a series to try to get back into regular reading habits. It's not very high brow but I'm working my way through the Agatha Raisin series. A better alternative to mindless scrolling.

What's Noteworthy
I'm still debating about X/Twitter. There is so much awful stuff popping up despite marking much as not interested and muting lots of keywords. I stick with it for Voicenotes and Twos news, although I can keep up to date via Discord and Reddit. I don't have the app on my phone and use a Chrome extension to hide the For You timeline.
